Vintage 1972 Heuer Autavia 11630T on rare and original plated” Heuer bracelet. Up for auction is an extremely well preserved example of the Heuer Autavia 11630T from 1972 - this model ist the successor of the famous white dialed Jo Siffert 1163T and the notorious white boy with the tachymeter bezel. This 11630T in full working order sports a spectacular silver brushed dial with vibrant bright orange accents and sunken black registers. The dial is in absolutely stunning condition and a real joy to look at. The sharp and heavy case shows a beautiful contrast between the polished sides and the sunburst top - the mineral crystal is surrounded by the original one-directional tachymeter bezel in excellent condition and with a lime insert on the triangle at 12. hands are all original with I nicely aged lume patina, pushers, crown etc ... all original. The watch comes on an original oyster-style Heuer plated solid stainless steel bracelet with Heuer signed clasp, which was developed for the heavier 11630 models, extremely hard to find these days. Watch keeps good time and runs great with date and chronograph functions working well - The watch was not serviced in recent years, although the previous owner told me that it was once serviced by Abel Court. it has not been tested for water-resistance. Vintage 1970-72 Heuer Monaco 1133B Steve McQueenon original racing Heuer Corfam strap with original Heuer signed Sun buckle up for auction is the most iconic automotive racing chronograph ever produced - The Heuer Monaco 1133B, as worn by king-of-cool Steve McQueen in the 1970 movie Le Mans. This example with a serial number 161xxx from 1970-1972 comes in full working order and has a beautiful and honest patina - the matt blue dial features the earlier sunken registers and original red-edged transitional hands. The case was never polished and shows signs of wear, but still has sharp edges with the original brushed and sunburst finish still visible, with some nicks here and there. The dial is flawless with little patina on the registers and has no signs of seal melt - the lume on markers and hands has equally faded to nice warm sand color. reference and serial numbers between the lugs are hardly visible and even harder to photograph. however they are there and readable with a loupe. caseback shows the obligatory Heuer logo and tool No.033 markings. The watch comes on an almost new old stock corfam strap with racing holes and the meanwhile hard to find original Heuer Sun buckle. Watch keeps good time with date and chronograph functions working well - The watch was not serviced in recent years but runs like a workhorse - although it could use a professional cleaning by chance. it has not been tested for water-resistance.
